Less than 3 weeks until my first craft show! I’m working on some Fall decor for my booth, and since Amuse Foosh’s signature color is teal, I’m making teal pumpkins!

I started with Styrofoam pumpkins in basic orange, and then cut slits and tucked in strips of various fabrics. I’ve seen pictures of similar pumpkins online, but I never bothered to read the directions. Turns out, it isn’t very hard, although a little time-consuming.
(Yes, those terrycloth strips are dollar store dish towels LOL. I didn’t need all of the towels, so I am planning to serge the edges to stop the fraying and use the smaller versions as hand towels. Good thing I bought that serger and learned how to use it last month!)
It was Mom’s idea to use a stick for the stem, and I think it came out pretty cute. What do you think?

You’ll be able to see the whole set, plus me and a bunch of scarves on Saturday October 22 at DK’s Market Fall Craft Fair in Hamel, IL.
